The Cocoa & High-Value Crop Development Project is a strategic initiative by Curated Holdings International Ltd aimed at diversifying agricultural exports through structured farming, improved planting materials, and integrated value chain systems. The project combines commercial farming with out-grower partnerships to ensure inclusive and scalable growth.
Hass and Fuerte avocados grown under Curated Farms are premium export-grade fruits cultivated in Uganda’s high-potential agro-ecological zones. The fruits are medium to large, pear-shaped to oval, with firm flesh and excellent post-harvest performance. Hass avocados develop a dark, pebbled skin when ripe, while Fuerte maintains a smooth green skin.
The flesh is creamy with medium to high oil content, offering a rich, buttery taste suitable for fresh markets, food processing, and hospitality industries. These varieties are ideal for international export due to their strong skin, firm seed positioning, and extended shelf life during transportation.
Our orchards are managed using structured farm systems to ensure consistent sizing, quality grading, and compliance with international export standards.
